I have worked in a range of industries during my working years – from restaurants, to factories, to mortgage banking. I decided to start my own insurance agency in 2002.

My name is Dawn Simmons. I am Andy’s wife and mother and stepmother of our 5 children. I started with Andy when we first started our Agency back in 2002. Since then I have stepped back and now just work on clerical part time in the office.
The rest of my time is devoted to all the errands and upkeep of our home & business. Our 5 children have become amazing adults (but they will always be our “kids”) and we are now officially empty nesters! We now have our first 2 beautiful granddaughters.

My wife Stacy and I grew up together in the Mid-Michigan town of Leslie . After High School I attended GVSU and have called West Michigan home since 1993. Finding time to travel and create new family adventures is tops on our list. When we do stay home I like to fish, hunt, take the family to East Lansing to watch our Spartans! At Olivet college I took an internship with Auto-Owners insurance as an underwriter and another with a local State Farm office. After college we moved to Grand Rapids and I worked at a State Farm office having top sales there. Did business insurance at Brouwers Agency. Then moved to HUB International to try a corporately run agency doing both business and personal lines insurance.
