- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- P&C License is a big plus

As a Customer Service Representative/Account Manager at Shield Insurance Agency, your primary responsibilities will be answering phones and emails from existing customers to assist them with making changes to their current insurance policies, quoting new business and re-quoting, processing billing payments, and filing and tracking claims.
Now Hiring Insurance Customer Service Rep and Account Manager Duties:
- Provide timely, professional, accurate, communication to clients, your team, carrier representatives, and underwriters.
- Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts.
- Market account renewals.
- Maintain confidentiality of client records and communications.
- Consult clients in making appropriate coverage changes; inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures and document in the agency management system.
- Complete account reviews and make recommendations to provide clients with appropriate coverage and/or the most competitive pricing.
- Seek referrals from the existing client base.
- Consistently maintain accurate electronic files and process incoming mail requests accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Quote and issue policies for personal lines.
The Qualifications Required
- P & C license
- Minimum 2-4 years independent experience.
- Knowledge of Google Applications.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals — teammates and clients.
- Exceptional typing, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Fast Learner
- A person who will go above and beyond to help the client.
- Problem-solving/critical thinking skills.
